What Kind Of Helmet For A Vespa What Kind Of Motorcycle Helmet Should I Get?

What kind of Motorcycle Helmet Should I Get? - what kind of helmet for a vespa

I will use a new headset with my scooter and my cycling too. Snell and DOT want something that is very light and airy. Money is not really part of an object, but I want to stay below 400 or 350. I plan Suomy, AGV, Arai and Shoei. Let me know!

Nobody, not even the dealer can not answer this question. Go to your local office to each different model to catch, and the manufacturer to test and compare. Go to the manufacturer, and repeat, etc ... take one from each vendor and compare it again. Do not look at the price, compare how you feel. Consider the comparison of the filling material will dissolve in a week (or two), so a helmet is very, very, very comfortable. Must be embedded on the cheeks and should not give in to comfortably top of the head (headaches). Keep each helmet in minutes (walking around the store itself). When the limit Finally, you can see the price. It could be $ 450 +, but at least have a better idea why. Also (very important) to ask the dealer to tell you that helmets are options to change in order to play the thickness of the platform. Arai (and some more Shoei-end) allows you to change the thickness, if you have a helmet that will fit into the top of the head, but can not feel right on the cheek, would contribute significantly towards this is another reason maintain, why the cost so that infor examining whether to choose a helmet for $ 450 +. Not sure about AGV and Suomy. I know that Arai helmets purchased with these properties know about U.S. $ 350 - $ 400 base or black (colors can add $ 30 - $ 50. These pictures can be $ 100 + price) There are other options such as online removealbe, etc., affect the price ... Half, authorization for three quarters and flip-up hybrid Snell. Search Snell sticker on the back of the helmet.

Personally, I like the Italian manufacturer and I do not receive the attention they deserve in this country, because everybody seems to be obsessed with the Japanese. Suomy helmet is an excellent, breaths well, and very easy ... But it's a bit expensive. I personally like AGV, and I have several. My first AGV is a cheap and he used when it was on my bike ... is celebrated as a champion, saved my life. I must admit I am a little tendency to VFA, because I'm a big fan of Rossi, but in my view, must go with AGV and Suomy. There is not much there, I'll look like a copy of the whole world. Moreover, unless a dealer in your soul, try to see http://www.imotorcyclestore.com
They have some of the best prices on helmets, I've found.

There are three basic properties of the helmet, is also the cheapest with the least protection.

1. Polycarbonate shells: Most helmets under $ 150 are made of polycarbonate, but it is a bit more. I've only heard bad stories about them.

2. Fiber is the next and is much better but also more expensive.

3. The carbon fiber helmets are at the top of the line. You pay a small, but what the head for you?

I do not think the brand is very important - Remember to check the building materials.

And always buckled chin strap or not wearing a helmet makes sense.

Because you want something DOT and Snell is a good start. There are rules that Snell helmet is perfect, but yet the best out there. Have you decided what style you want (front, three quarters, convertible bonds, etc.)?
Obviously, the whole face tend to be heavier and provide less ventilation, but they offer the greatest protection. Many of his final decision on the aesthetics of the body to - before a certain price, they all have similar protective properties. Is in your price range, you get almost everything under one headset for all of our race. I think I paid less than $ 150 for my full HJC helmet, but luckily did not have to test the protective effect.
I suggest getting a helmet with a removable lining. If you regularly () especially in hot weather, you'll be glad you can wash and line out.
Here you will find more information about the different styles of helmets:
